This painting was inspired by the stunning purple starfish that can be found in many local tidepools. This particular starfish was found by my children at Clayton Beach in Bellingham, Washington.
The artwork is painted on watercolor paper and mounted onto a 3/4-inch birchwood panel. It has been sealed, so no glass framing is necessary. It’s ready to hang in a floating frame.
